Target Audience: Middle-class, professional woman experiencing menopause  

Tone: Gentle, Professional, Direct

Brief: To create 2 Facebook adverts encouraging people to visit the SheFit Yoga page and learn more about their services.

Solution: Following extensive discussion with Alice, the founder of SheFit Yoga, I was determined to create a product that dug into the audience pain points and re-framed the expeirence of menopause. I focused on the idea of harnessing menopause as an opportunity to learn new skills and become more in touch with themselves / their bodies through Alice’s practices. Emphasis on the service as bespoke was essential, since the USP of SheFit Yoga is the promise of trust, confidentiality and the avoidance of a ‘one size fits all’ approach. In addition, I kept the word ‘online’ central and highlighted that the practices were simple and practical. This shows Alice’s target audience of professional, working women (likely juggling multiple responsibilities) that her service is something which can slot easily into their lives.

The word ‘strength’ is repeated across both adverts as a way to connote growth and resilience, as well as the restoration of depleted energy levels during menopause. Mentions of a ‘period’ for growth and ‘healthier futures’ indicate that working with SheFit Yoga is the beginning of a sustainable, on-going process, as opposed to a one-off, fad attempt. The notion of ‘treating’ menopause ‘with love’ plays on medical connotations of the word ‘treat’ to emphasise Alice’s holisitc approach to wellness, as well her status as an expert on the subject.
