Tone: Professional yet promotional
Brief: To create an A5 print flyer promoting a free trial at MSA Luton, with a broader aim to boost membership numbers
Solution: I intended to frame Muay Thai as a sport that would aid the development of children beyond the gym, using language that emphasised the club’s core focus on personal growth, learning and enjoyment. The target audience was not expected to have a large amount of disposable income nor free time, hence accessibility and professionalism needed to be communicated quickly and simultaneously. Copy and images were thus intended to supplement the understanding of one another - i.e “200 techniques” is supported by the image of a child being taught one such technique. For the same reason, key words such as “discipline”, “confidence”, “affordable” and “professional” were made clear, aiming to give the audience exactly what they are looking for as soon as they began to read.
